DuckTown Lodge was the BEST place I could’ve have boarded my dog. I have a 9 month old yellow lab who is full of energy. Updates were sent everyday and everyday she was wagging her tail and playing! I know that she was well taken care of! My husband and I joked saying we didn’t know if she’d want to come home! I’m so thankful for a place to leave her that is close to our own home environment. We were so lucky to meet Sara when she helped train our first dog several years ago. As soon as we got our new puppy, I knew I had to reach out to her again.

Our June did two weeks of board and train and already has made such amazing progress. Our goal is to get our CGC and be able to have June at work with me - and Sara is doing everything she can to help us get there.

Communication and updates while at B&T was amazing and made her being away a little easier and we are so grateful to have classes now to continue our work.

We love Ducktown Lodge! They always take great care of our dog when we’re away, and the photo/video updates are the best. Our pup Gemma recently did the two-week board and train with Sara, and it was a great experience. Sara kept us in the loop and truly cared for Gemma. Ducktown Lodge is our favorite boarding spot around! Exceptional experience.

We love how intimate the space is with only 12 kennels and all the dogs get so much individual play time outside. The kennel is located on family owned property and we know our two Golden retrievers get so much love and attention here!

Our youngest Golden, Billie, did board and train with Sara and she is so much easier to handle with all her puppy energy — 10/10!!!!

We are new to the Ducktown family. We have a one year old Great Dane that was out of control.  We had to keep her up when the grandchildren came to visit.  To say Ducktown has done a great job isn't praise enough. She now can control herself around the grands and has quit barking at deer. To say she is trained now should say "we are trained".  She has become a bestie with the grands. Now listens to our commands.  Everyone in this house is overjoyed with our pups new found discipline. We love Ducktown Lodge! The boarding facility is spacious and beautiful. Zelda loves the individual  attention and play time she gets while boarding there. The  video updates of her chasing after her ball are adorable. Lucinda and the rest of the team are wonderful and caring, which gives me peace of mind while I’m away. Sending your pup somewhere for 2 weeks for a board and train is a BIG decision.  After a lot of research we chose Ducktown for the boarding and training.  Turns out we made a great decision.  Lucinda sent us daily videos of our baby which made us feel better.  Our dog requires a very specific diet and Lucinda had no problem taking the xtra time to accommodate.  I cant say enough about Sara and her training.  She also sent us a lot of videos of the progress.  When we picked up our pup we couldn't believe our eyes at how well she was trained in such a short period.  Sara spent two hours with us to make sure we were comfortable with the commands and instructions to continue the growth of our puppy. We are very pleased with the board and train and will definitely be back for group training sessions. I highly recommend Ducktown to anyone who wants their dog to be well taken care of with trusted people!  Thank you for everything Lucinda and Sara!

Ducktown Lodge LLC is the best and is our favorite boarding facility in Forsyth County!  The facility is beautiful, with an open play area that is clean and well maintained, making it a very comfortable place for your pet(s) to stay while you are away!  Lucinda and Sara took such great care of our sweet girl Molly.  They were great with keeping us informed daily of Molly’s wellbeing, sharing photos and videos which helped bring us peace of mind.  Sara worked closely with Molly (who is still a young puppy) teaching her a few basic commands that have also helped us utilize in the structure of her daily life.  Thank you for taking such great care of our Molly!  We are looking forward to future stays with Ducktown Lodge because we know she will be loved and taken care of without any reason to worry!

I have used Ducktown Lodge multiple times for my two dogs. Some stays for one night, recently a stay for week. Lucinda and her team are accommodating to any of my requests and have been great about drop-off and pick-up times.

They send pictures and videos of the dogs during their stay, and they spend time outside actually playing with the dogs.  Our Sophie is a Mini Aussie, a high-energy 1-year old, that is obsessed with frisbee and Ducktown takes the time to play fetch with her and our other dog, Bella.

While it’s never fun to leave the pups behind, I know they are cared for at Ducktown.
